The New Mexico Public Education Department has issued new guidance for handling threats that originate on social media. Recently, schools across the nation have seen a surge in social media threats—many of which are hoaxes or pranks. Even when these threats are unfounded, they can still lead to widespread fear, the cancellation of events, and a strain on resources.
We urge everyone to be vigilant online and report any suspicious activity to authorities. Let's work together to keep our schools safe and protect our community's well-being.

On July 22, students from Capital High, Santa Fe High, Early College Opportunities High, and Desert Sage Academy came together for a memorable Summer Commencement Ceremony. Estrella Flores was named varsity coach for the Capital High School (CHS) girls basketball program today, June 18th.
