A  Very Important Survey: The survey window is closed for the New Mexico Public Education Department EES survey to be taken by parents of students in grades K-2 .  Thank you to all of you who completed this survey.

School Advisory Council:  Every year, the school must have parents, teachers and community members join a School Advisory council.  Please contact Mrs. Korce if you are interested in this.  We would need to meet once a month to make major school decisions.

Attendance: Chaparral’s attendance for the week of May 8th was 95.4% and Amy Biehl’s attendance was 93.8%.  The goal of 97% remains.

PBIS : (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports)  We are still asking for parents to participate in this committee and contribute to the effort creating a positive learning environment for all students.

Registration for students going into 7th grade next year: We still need your future 7th graders to register here at Chaparral for next year!

K-3 Plus: There is still room for students to attend!  Check in the office for details.

Please remind friends and neighbors to register for Kindergarten.
